The following images of Afghanistan are a result of my three trips to that country in 2001 and 2002. I worked in Jabal os-Saraj, Taloqan, Mazar-e-Sharif, and Kabul as a television producer, covering the struggle against the Taliban regime by the then opposition Northern Alliance and the international anti-terrorist coalition led by the United States. Photography is one of my hobbies.
